It was tasty and friendly, and we would be served quickly. When there is no Corona, it looks cozy inside. At the moment you can at least sit outside and wait for the food. The gentleman who served us was pleasant and very friendly.

Small and a bit plain, but delicious food, fast and courteous service, almost perfect. Unfortunately only cash payments are possible.

Very tasty food and large portions at reasonable prices. There is also a large selection, including vegetarian dishes. The service is friendly and relatively reserved. You should sit inside because there are only two tables outside and the restaurant is on a main street.

I only discovered the shop by accident, as I looked for restaurants in Düsseldorf at Quandoo. If I hadn't had the exact address, I would probably have walked past the store, very inconspicuously. The ambience is exactly how you imagine it. The menu is adorned with many appealing dishes. The starter and main course were so delicious and large that the price seemed too low. Definitely not my last visit.

I often run kilometers before I plant myself in a restaurant because I don't like to waste my money on poor catering. I hope the operators can keep the shop because the price-performance ratio is awesome. Try the fried sticky rice with banana for dessert. A dream!!!

Great place to eat. great value for money

Mama Dang is easy to miss if you are not careful. The restaurant is not immediately noticeable, but is worth a visit. At lunchtime there is a lunch menu with 3 dishes, but alternatively the whole menu. The food is freshly prepared and tastes good. The servings are more than sufficient. Hence a really good price-performance ratio.

Totally delicious, mild taste, very fresh and light, super affordable price for a large portion and friendly service! Why did I only know now ?!

Delicious!

Delicious fresh flavoursome food with friendly service. Exceptional value, 2 starters, 2 mains and a bottle of wine for €43! Only issue with the food was either it wasn't fillet steak as stated on menu or it was completely overcooked and tough. If I had to nitpick I'd say service is too fast. Mains come literally minutes after you've finished starters which came minutes after you ordered which doesn't allow you time to sit and digest and socialise. We were left with a bottle of wine to drink because food was so fast! 😂

We ordered the beef entree, chicken & prawns wanton entree and the crispy duck mains. The first and third were just fine. The wanton had no chicken and prawns in them. Absolutely zero ! When we point this out to the waiter, all he had to say was that it was made into realllllyyy small pieces and hence we couldn't find it and also that he is new there. How can making meat small, make it disappear? Poor service. Won't recommend.

It was really good! We had a #26 & #20 and they were both delicious. Very nice people working there too. Beware the peppers that came with the #20 pho. They made it quite spicy!

Everything you get here is a lot for its small amount. Restuarant was nicely decorated and cute all those little things, a downside (I do miss the music) Otherwise good food and nice people.

Great food, large portions, good value!

The food's great (if you can tolerate the typical quality of meat in Asian restaurants) and comes expediently. The problem here is the only one who's (genuinely) friendly is the cook. The snotty attitude leaves a bad taste in my mouth, and it is because this is yet another restaurant in the area with female help who think they're boosting profits by thumbing their nose at customers who choose not to order a drink (why always females? what's up with that, girls?).

Good restaurant near the old town. The prices are great compared to other Vietnamese restaurants in Dusseldorf. The service is super fast and friendly. The food was served in less than 20 minutes, although the restaurant was full. The food was also very good. Good Vietnamese cuisine, which is slightly adapted to the European palate. The ambiance is also very cozy. All in all, the restaurant is definitely recommended.

Found a nail in my fried rice. Everything was fine until this point.
